I was born in Tokyo Japan 1951. After graduating from Musashino Art College in Craft Design - Ceramics, I worked as a pottery instructor at the Nippon Ceramic Art Club - Tokyo and in Shizuoka
Prefecture in Japan, whilst continually working as a ceramic artist. I migrated to Australia with my family in 1991 and
established a private pottery workshop in Armidale NSW. Since then I have continuously explored new techniques and materials to develop my
style based on Japanese aesthetics.
